When it comes to basketball job openings professional clubs have a very clear preference for the type of imports they want, especially on which position they should play.
The biggest demand is for post players. A staggering 44.4 % of all basketball job openings are for post players. However, the individual position for which there is the biggest demand is that of pure point guards (17.5 % of all vacancies).
There is very little demand for wings and for players who play on more than two positions. Teams are not looking for all-round players, but specialists who excel at something.
